The Cruise 2018 show was presented in Florence at the Palatine Gallery in Pitti Palace, where the runway extended through its seven rooms. The House was established in Florence, and the collection connected Gucci?s beginnings with that of the city?s historic past and decades since. The Spring Summer 2018 fashion show sets a surreal stage for mystical details, creatures and references that enrich the esoteric world of the collection. The chain necklace is beaded with tinted red coral beads that continue into a long chain, ending with a bull's head. Styled with several of the runway looks, the necklace can be worn with the bull's head pendant hanging down the front or the back.

A special collection of denim styles are introduced for Cruise 2018. This straight leg denim pant includes a special tag that was inspired by vintage postcards, it depicts an illustrated eye and the word "Amour" which speaks to the romanticism inspiring the House's imagery. Made from Japanese denim, known for its premium construction and woven using traditional techniques.

The headband continues to be a defining feature of Gucci collections. The braided design is printed with the same motif that appeared on the invitation for the Spring Summer 2018 fashion show. The stamped fonts and graphics are inspired by the 18th century book ?Decouverte de La Maison de Campagne D?Horace? by French writer and archeologist L?Abbé Bertrand Capmartin de Chaupy.
